Terms of use
Last updated 15 October 2026.
By using Swoopty (swoopty.com.au) you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Using the tools
- Swoopty’s tools are free to use, without an account.
- Only process files and content you have the right to use. You remain responsible for your files and for what you do with the results.
- Don’t use Swoopty to break the law, to infringe anyone’s rights, or to remove protections from documents you are not entitled to open. The Unlock PDF tool requires the document’s password and must only be used on files you are allowed to access.
- Don’t try to disrupt the service, overload it with automated requests, get around its limits, or access anything that isn’t meant to be public.
Results and accuracy
We work hard to make the tools accurate, but results depend on your files and on the limits of the underlying technology. For example, document conversion may not perfectly preserve complex layouts, OCR can misread text, AI upscaling invents plausible detail, and compression doesn’t always make files smaller. Check results before relying on them, and keep your original files.
The “Sign PDF” tool adds a picture of a signature. It is not a cryptographic digital signature and does not verify identity. The JWT decoder shows a token’s contents but does not verify it.
Advertising
Swoopty shows ads provided by Google. We don’t endorse advertised products, and your dealings with advertisers are between you and them.
Availability
We may change, limit or stop any tool at any time, for example to fix problems or prevent abuse. Some tools depend on software installed on our server and may be temporarily unavailable.
Our liability
Swoopty is provided free of charge and “as is”. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law or any other legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including loss of data or files.
Intellectual property
You keep all rights to your files. The Swoopty name, logo and site design belong to Swoopty. The open-source software and models we use are credited, with their licences, on the About page.
Privacy
The privacy policy explains how files and information are handled.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the laws in force in Australia.
